SAE Accreditations

The SAE School is Accredited

Educational accreditation is a kind of external and independent verification that an academic institution’s operations meet widely recognized standards. Therefore, accreditation is an important qualification for any school:  It demonstrates that a school is meeting a set of standards outlined by each accrediting organization.

The SAE School’s mission to be the most exceptionally Safe, Innovative & Rigorous school in Georgia is partly demonstrated through its continued pursuit and maintenance of accreditation from various state and national organizations.

The SAE School first received accreditation from the Georgia Accrediting Commission on September 11, 2013.  GAC has been serving Georgia since 1904 and has a straightforward approach to accrediting schools.

The SAE School’s entire Kindergarten through 12th grades are accredited with GAC.

Additionally, our preschool is licensed by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL).  Read more information about DECAL.

AdvancEd (SACS)

AdvancEd was established in 2006 with the unification of two divisions of accreditation organizations. Its purpose is to not only provide an accreditation vehicle but to encourage ongoing improvement. To successfully pursue this stamp of excellence, a school must undergo significant self-study of the academic program as well as careful review of school operations.

As a result, the process for acquiring SACS accreditation also requires the greatest amount of time. This effort is currently underway at The SAE School. Meanwhile, you can read more about AdvancEd and the history of SACS.
