We have an absolutely amazing group of teachers and we are always looking for additional individuals who can meet our exceptionally high standards.
Regardless of the position you are seeking, you will need to be willing to go above and beyond the call of duty at all times, be flexible, creative, open-minded, a team player, and willing to be held to an exceptional standard of performance. Most importantly, you will understand that we do not have any time to waste when it comes to educating our kids. Every minute of every day is vital to learning and shaping their lives. We will not compromise on this. We expect 100% of our children to graduate and go on to college, and the journey begins the first time they walk into your classroom.
We value our commitment to our students and understand that this commitment cannot be fully achieved until a staff member’s family needs are met. We will always keep this in mind in working with our staff to do whatever is humanly possible to assist in this area. “Family” always comes first, and we work hand in hand to help staff members deal with life.
Unlike many schools where teachers are asked to cover several subjects, we expect our elementary grade teachers to be experts in only a single content area. All teachers work with 3-5 other teachers in an Academic Family and remain with their grade level colleagues and family of 40-80 students for 3-4 years at a time (3 years in k-2; 3 years in grades 3-5; 3 years in grades 6-8; 4 years in grades 9-12). We ask all staff to fully commit to this 3-4 year commitment. Naturally, we understand that life happens, and we will handle these circumstances when they arise. However, we expect every teacher to be uncompromising in this commitment to our students.
If you are a creative, dynamic, committed, and motivational teacher, then we want and need you. Our teachers enjoy a generous salary and benefits package and are held to an exceptionally high degree of professionalism, commitment, and performance.

We are always planning for the future. If you believe you would be a good fit for our team, please your resume with a thoughtful cover letter to Shannan.Tilson@SAEschool.org. Teachers with project-based learning experience and credentials are strongly encouraged to apply.
