Where are all the HoneyBees Going?

Ms. Shantile’s 3rd Grade Scientists are investigating possible causes for the decline of honeybee populations. They are analyzing how living in a group makes honeybees susceptible to some of the causes of decline. Today, Ms. Mary (Master BeeKeeper) visited the group to share her expertise on honeybees. Now they will follow the design process to sketch, build, and evaluate a bee habitat model that promotes the survival of bees. During the “Explain” step of the design process, students create a public service announcement to share their designs as a way to raise awareness about the importance of bees.
